Reporting to the Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager, the incumbent will support several aspects of the following areas:
1. Perform financial duties in areas of Budgeting, Costing, Financial Accounting, Financial Control & Operation, Financial Planning & Management, Manpower Planning and Payroll, General Ledger and Payment, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Revenue Management and Shroff Operation, Capital Expenditure, ASOI, Donation and Treasury Management etc.
2. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports and presentation materials.
3. Assist to compile, maintain and verify financial data and assist to perform financial analysis and projection.
4. Handle payment vouchers.
5. Follow up outstanding receipts with Cluster Procurement & Supplies Department and user departments.
6. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal control procedures.
7. Assist in Month-end, Interim and Year End Closing exercises.
8. Assist to handle the "Human Capital Management (HCM) System" related issues, including operation reports.
9. Assist to compile payroll related reports and analysis.
10. Assist to handle payroll administration including allowance and wages administration, payroll calculation, final payment administration, taxation, Employees' Compensations, etc.
11. Carry out general clerical duties including filing, record and database maintenance.
12. Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements :
1. Has obtained a Diploma in a specialized function, and has completed F.5/ S.5 with:
(a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR
(b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent.; OR
2. F.5/ S.5 AND diploma in relevant discipline with experience.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure :
1. With accounting related certificate and working experience in Finance Department
2.Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
3.Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
4.Be responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
5.Proficiency in common computer software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing).
Remarks:
For Serving HA Staff
1. Serving staff who have completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years' relevant experience within HA may also be considered.
2. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.
For External Applicants
3. Candidate appointed on contract terms will be offered a contract for up to 3 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
For All Applicants
5. Selected candidate will be required to perform on-call duties, work outside office, or outside normal office hours and on Sunday and public holidays, if required.
6. Selected candidate may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
7. Renewal of contract will depend on funding, operational needs and appointee's performance.
