Job Description

1. Provide administrative and clerical support in a variety of hospital and cluster administrative functions in the aspects of estate management, repair & maintenance, operation & support services, as appropriate.
2. Assist in liaising with users, contractors, work agents for delivering the support services functions.
3. Conduct site inspection and coordination works to support the estate management / related services within cluster.
4. Provide administrative support in various meetings.
5. By using of the computational software / IT system to input various data / information for further analysis.
6. Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisors / Hospital Engineer.
7. Documentation works support for Hospital Accreditation.
8. Assist in developing of OSH / safety management system.
9. Assist in monitor, manage and analysis on energy / utilities consumptions.
10. Internal coordination for various maintenance / project works.
11. Assist in enhancement work to the intranet / web-based engineering and maintenance works.

Entry Requirements

1. Completed F.5/ S.5 with:
(a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR
(b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language subjects,
or equivalent.
and obtained a diploma in a specialized function;
OR
2. Completed F.5/ S.5 and obtained a diploma in a specialized function with experience.

Preferred Attributes

1. Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services Engineering is preferred.
2. Experience in property / estate facility management is preferred.
3. Familiar with Auto-CAD software.
4. Proficiency in PC applications (e.g. MS Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.) and word processing.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Self-motivated and independent with strong sense of responsibility.

Remarks

For Serving HA Staff

1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-2 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.

For External Applicants

2. Appointment will be on contract terms for 1-2 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.
3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.

4. May be required to wear uniform.
5. May be required to work shifts and irregular hours, during typhoons, rainstorms and other contingencies/ emergencies and perform overnight duties
6. May be required to wear N-95 mask and Personal Protective Equipment when discharging duties.
7. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
