Office: Administrative Services Department, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC)
Pay: HK$16,994 – HK$20,656 per month
Job :
1.
To assist managers of the Supporting Services Unit in the planning and management of fire safety, security, domestic cleansing service, portering service, car park management and hospital transportation services.
2.
To assist in developing, organizing and implementing service improvement programs of the Supporting Services Unit.
3.
To assist in formulating workflow, guidelines, and operation manuals, etc.
4.
To carry out general clerical duties that includes filing, data entry and record keeping.
5.
To assist in coordinating and organizing meetings, activities and programs, including provision of logistics support and liaison with stakeholders.
6.
To handle enquiries, liaise and communicate with staff and public.
7.
To compile and analyze statistics, file and retrieve documents, and search for useful information.
8.
To assist in the supervision of supporting staff of the department if necessary.
9.
To perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements :
1.
University Graduates;
OR
2.
Completed F.5/ S.5 AND Diploma in any discipline with (a) or (b) below:
(a)
passes in 5 subjects in the HKCEE, including English Language (Syl B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent;
(b)
5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
l Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and
l Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent;
Preferable Attributes/ Exposure:
1.
Proficiency in common computer software (e.g. MS office, including Chinese Word processing).
2.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
3.
Responsible, self-motivated, outgoing and able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills.
4.
Commitment and flexible working hours (over time during project deadlines).
Remarks :
For Serving HA Staff
1.
Serving staff who have completed F.5/ S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
2.
The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms.
3.
The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.
For External Applicants

Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.
Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
For All Applicants

May be required to perform 24-hour shift duty and to perform duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies.
7.
Selected candidate may be required to wear uniform whilst on duties.
8.
Job rotation would be arranged for the selected candidate if required.
9.
Selected candidate will be posted in Pok Oi Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
10.
Renewal of contract will depend on funding, operational needs and appointee’s performance.
