Job Description

1. Mainly deployed in general clerical duties relating to the following aspects: data input, general stores, supplies and procurement, statistics, audio-visual & venue setting, telephone operation, filing and record keeping, counter work, public enquiries, property management, clinical support services, office support, drafting departmental guidelines and meeting minutes, managing the assets and controlled documents and coordinating the renewal of licenses with various depts.
2. Support the arrangement of meetings / activities / programs.
3. Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Entry Requirements:
1. Completed F.5/S.5 or above, and has clerical experience; OR
2. Completed F.5/S.5 with:
(a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese
Language, or equivalent; OR
(b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects
(subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language
subjects;
Or equivalent.

Preferred Attributes:
1. Good typing skill and computer knowledge in MS Office, e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
3. Pleasant and mature personality.

Remarks:
For Serving HA Staff
1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-2 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.

For External Applicants
2. Appointment will be on contract terms for 1-2 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.
3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.

For All applicants
4. Incumbent of the post may be required to work shifts and to attend duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies.
5. May be required to perform ‘on-call’ duties or work outside normal working hours.
6. May be required to wear N-95 mask and Personal Protective Equipment when discharging duties.
7. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
