SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE

Applications are invited for the following post in the Centre for Chinese Herbal Medicine Drug Development, which is located in the Hong Kong Science Park.

Executive Assistant (PR0100/20-21)

The appointee is responsible for general office administration of the Centre.

Job Duties:

  • To provide administrative support for various functional areas, including but not limited to the daily administration, human resources matters, and liaison with internal and external parties;
  • To handle the financial related matters of the Centre, such as purchasing and reimbursements, inventory management, maintenance of financial records;
  • To providing logistical support to academic events and appointment of research personnel;
  • To perform secretarial duties for the Centre Director; and
  • To undertake any other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of solid work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions;
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • Proficient in computer literacy;
  • Meticulous and self-motivated;
  • A strong sense of responsibility, a high level of organisational and good interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and work independently.


Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
