Executive Assistant (Ref. 20072801-E)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support for academic programmes relating to student admission and registration, promotion, subject registration, timetabling, assessment and certification, and student activities, etc.;
(b) coordinate and ensure compliance with the procedural guidelines and the regulations required for the operation and administration of the academic programmes;
(c) maintain and update the student record and database of the academic programmes;
(d) handle written and telephone enquiries from staff, students and applicants;
(e) provide secretarial and administrative support to committees and meetings;
(f) perform general office administrative work for the School; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree with some relevant working experience;
(b) have a good understanding of the 4-year degree framework and undergraduate admission in tertiary education institutions;
(c) have good teamwork, and interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills;
(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(e) be able to work independently and under pressure.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
