Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 498377) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with 1-2 years’ experience in communications, public relations and/or events management. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree will also be considered. He/She should be a good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, and have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua. Skills in graphic design would be a definite advantage.

The appointee will provide administrative support to the Faculty’s Communications and External Relations Team. Duties include planning, co-ordinating and implementing communication and promotion-related initiatives; organising seminars and conferences; liaising with alumni, students, internal and external parties; and assist in general administration. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a written test.
