What part will you play? * You are proficient in managing the availability and delivery of the right quality materials at the right time, price and terms. * You are skilled in reviewing technical specifications and bill of quantity; checking and discussing with process managers / production engineers to determine / search suitable manufacturers / suppliers * You are an expert in leading day-to-day relationship with suppliers, transporters, from placement of order till delivery of shipment, rate negotiations while ensuring achievement of service and quality norms for smooth flow of operations & supply of required items * You will analyze the scope of supply and contract agreements, analyze risk, and finalize negotiations and contracts with the project managers and contract managers. * You excel in improving operational efficiency by eliminating obsolescence and achieving cost reduction through vendor development, curbing rework & rejection, materials management, and inventory control * You are responsible for ensuring alignment with procurement processes and compliance. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds - He/ She should, 1) Mechanical /Electrical Engg-3-5 years' experience 2) Experienced in Procurement/Buying /Demand planning 3) Ensure -On time delivery of assigned commodities 4) Experience in -Domestic, Import procurement. subcontracting etc. 5) Experience in handling of commodities Machining, casting, sheet metal, heavy fabrication, sheet metal, electrical, bought out procurement, surface treatment like Painting+ Plating+ Cu Spray & its subcontracting 6) Able read & understand drawings 7) Basic knowledge of manufacturing process like Machining, casting, sheet metal, heavy fabrication, sheet metal, ,surface treatment etc 8) Ensure -Inventory control & its continues monitoring, address depletion if needed 9) Focus on Localization/cost reduction initiatives/reduction in Air freight etc 10) Resolve suppliers tecno-commercial issues 11) Good communication skill to have better coordination internally & externally 12) Travel to supplier end in case of business need (Travelling involved)-Domestic & overseas if needed 13) Experience with Energy /Manufacturing/Auto sector, Preferred from Switchgear industry High-Medium Voltage Note -Aurangabad location works on 6 days in a week & vacancy is for Aurangabad location only We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
