Executive Chef
The Chef fulfils as a member of the management a very important task. His/her main target is to keep up the Gastronomy Standards in the kitchen. He/she exercises strong leadership and gives a strong accent on visible management in the front area, especially during main service hours.

What you will be doing:

Maintains our standards of quality, service and facilities in all areas over which he/she has responsibility and authority. He/she accounts for the overall smooth and economical running of the entire kitchens and is directly responsible for the Food Cost and the quality of the product. He/she signs for the production of the best possible food quality with no compromises to quality.
Assists the management in supervising and implementing the Operational Standards as well as the Hotel’s internal rules and regulations.

Your experience and skills include:

• Must be thoroughly familiar with all Mövenpick corporate and local Operational and Gastronomy Standards for his/her area and ensure they are followed. Assists all supervisors under his/her control in the accomplishment of their objectives. Will accomplish obligations and goals as outlined below.
   Organisation of kitchen administration
   Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets (Food Cost: frame with minimum and maximum).
   Co-operation with hotel’s Service and Stewarding
   Co-ordination with Housekeeping
   The following duties within frame of work:
  1. Commercial / Sales
  2. Menu Planning / Production
  3. Kitchen Organisation
  4. Purchasing / F&B Control / Storing
  5. Quality / Product / Image
