Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all new claims are registered properly and promptly
• Set and monitor reserve adequately and promptly and ensure the authority levels as laid down are conformed with
• Evaluate policy liabilities, verify quantum and recommend settlement in accordance with Company’s underwriting / claims policy and reinsurance practice
• Keep close monitoring on development of claims files and take appropriate follow up actions
• Appoint claims adjusters and solicitors as necessary and to monitor their performance
• Identify and maximize subrogation / salvage recovery and collect overpayments
• Assist the salvage disposition or other recovery legal proceedings where necessary

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably with progress in professional insurance examination
• Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant work experience in insurance field
• Solid experience in servicing and operation of Commercial Lines with emphasis on Commercial Property and Employees Compensation claims
• Pleasant, well-organized, self-motivated and customer-oriented
• Excellent telephone manner, customer service, communication and negotiation skills 
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing
