Executive Director, Food & Beverage - REMOTE Based in USA or Canada

The Executive Director of Food & Beverage is an innovative and strategic leader that will be responsible for providing support, knowledge and expertise to key stakeholders within the NCA, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement in quality, financial success, leadership development, colleague and guest satisfaction. This role will manage essential functions and regional programs in coordination with the SVP F&B, and in alignment with the F&B vision and strategic objectives.

What you will be doing:

• Provides leadership support and guidance to F&B operations and regional hub leaders resulting in improved guest experience, revenue and profit
• Ensures the highest level of guest satisfaction and consistency through re-enforcing F&B quality standards and product delivery in all properties
• Overall accountability for the management and fulfilment of corporate programs including but not limited to; beverage, restaurant revenue management, technology, quality assurance and sustainability
• Drives strategies that support the F&B Vision and achieve corporate goals and objectives
• Partners with Corporate Procurement in driving opportunities for new partnerships, cost savings initiatives and ensuring product quality selections are in keeping with standards
• Works with various stakeholders on hotel openings, transitions and renovations
• Manages online reputations with hub marketing team, including process for photography, website creation, and social media handles
• Conducts on-site reviews and ensuring compliance with each brands quality and operational standards
• Supports F&B and T&C in recruitment and selection strategies, and monitors internal talent development and succession pipeline
• Monitors the external environment and competition in the luxury hotel market and free-standing restaurant market and identifying opportunities to strengthen the F&B operations strategies and enhance our competitive advantage

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Food & Beverage Management (Executive Level)
• Degree/Diploma in a recognized Hotel & Restaurant Management program
• Free-standing restaurant experience
• Luxury hotel experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-player attitude
• Project management; ability to juggle multiple projects at once
• Financial Acumen
• Knowledge in restaurant renovations and concept development
• Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvement
• Results oriented and self-motivated
• Excellent culinary, wine, spirit, beer, and overall beverage knowledge
• Intimate knowledge of the F&B and hospitality industry on a regional and global scale
• Flexible and able to work well under pressure
• Efficiency of Office365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook), Micros/Silverware and Avero
• Ability to travel in North & Central America

Your team and working environment:

• Based remotely,  the Executive Director, Food & Beverage will be part of the North & Central America Regional F&B team, and will also work closely with Property F&B teams.
