The main objectives of the Business Development Manager for Executive Education are to coordinate the executive education team, to ensure a high quality in delivering programme to manage existing client accounts, and to drive sales of new programmes (customized and open enrolment).

The main objectives of the Business Development Manager for Executive Education are to coordinate the executive education team, to ensure a high quality in delivering programme to manage existing client accounts, and to drive sales of new programmes (customized and open enrolment).
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the activities of the executive education team in alignment with the school’s strategy and with the guidance of the Associate Dean for Professional Engagement
- Stay informed of current executive education market trends;
- Work with the team to identify, target and serve the market through commercial executive education offerings;
- Build and maintain a corporate network through regular attendance of corporate and social networking events in coordination with the Business Engagement Managers and the other relevant stakeholders;
- Consult potential clients on their executive education needs;
- Meet with clients to discuss and identify their talent development priorities and training requirements;
- Coordinate the sales activities of the business development managers
- Keep constantly abreast of relevant tender opportunities;
- Coordinate the preparation of the business and programme proposals tailored to client needs in both English and Chinese;
- Negotiate with clients, prepare final offerings and pricing, while closely informing the Academic Director of Executive Education and the Associate Dean of Professional Engagement;
- Be responsible for direct client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables;
- Keep a constant communication with the Head of the Divisions to make the staffing of the programmes in according with their plan and to keep update the catalogue of the school’s offering,
- Ensure the quality of the delivery coordinating the activities of the Executive Education Officers;
- Ensure that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, and informs the Head of Executive Education of any problems that may arise;
- Report to the Academic Director of Executive Education and provide regular input on all account activities on a regular basis;
- Work with the marketing team to prepare advertising campaigns which meet the needs of our target market;
- Constantly update the University CRM (Customer Relations Management) system, including the writing of detailed client reports;
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the Associate Dean of Professional Engagement.
PERSONAL SKILLS
- Awareness of cultural diversity within an international business and working environment;
- Knowledge of the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system;
- Excellent organisational and co-ordinating skills;
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to establish and maintain positive inter-department relationships;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese;
- Ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time, and to prioritise tasks/activities effectively, along with the ability to meet
