Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible for managing the Corporate Communications of HKCAAVQ. Major duties include development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies in cooperation with the functional areas; management of press and public relations; liaisons with internal and external stakeholders; planning and organisation of HKCAAVQ events and local and international networking activities; production of publications such as annual reports, newsletters and other publicity materials; development and management of the HKCAAVQ website and staff intranet; and supervision of staff.

Requirements

Applicants should hold at least a first degree comparable to HKQF Level 5 in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of relevant post-qualification work experience. We are looking for an individual who has excellent planning and organisation skills; good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills; good media network; and excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). The ideal candidate should be proactive, creative, independent as well as a team player, and able to work with staff across the organisation. An understanding of the education system in Hong Kong would be of an advantage.

Conditions of Service and Application Procedures

Initial appointment will normally be made on a two-year contract subject to renewal. We offer competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, contract-end gratuity, plus fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits.
