Executive Meeting Manager
Fairmont Dallas is looking for a dynamic Sales individual who will provide an outstanding experience to our small groups during their program. You will be reporting to the Director of Group Sales.

What you will be doing:
- Actively sell guest rooms to small groups, ensuring goals are met
- Work within tight response deadlines
- Solicit new business, engage new clients, and rebook existing clients
- Manage on-site program operations based on provided schedule
- Conduct site visits and planning site visits in a professional manner
- Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate software applications
- Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
- Obtain and manage rooming list details
- Conduct pre-convention meetings as required
- Maintain positive relationships with all guests, vendors, and employees
- Maximize revenue potential with each program
- Meet clients prior to departure to ensure all details of the contract were delivered and to solicit any future business
- Manage billing, deposits and payments as required
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Previous experience within hotel sales required
- Knowledge of Hotel Food & Beverage operations
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Opera CRM Sales & Catering knowledge an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
