Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre
The Centre is the first local independent certification body of organic production in Hong Kong. It provides organic certification service and actively promotes organic movement to the public through mass publicity and educational campaigns. We are seeking passionate and energetic candidates who are interested in organic and agricultural development in Hong Kong to fill the following position:
The appointee will report directly to the Centre Director. He/She will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director and assisting him in overseeing all administrative matters. Duties include:
- coordinating the day-to-day appointments of the Director and organising his daily itinerary;
- assisting in reviewing documents and project progress;
- preparing correspondence and materials for meetings and providing secretarial service to office meeting;
- maintaining an effective filing and retrieval information system;
- planning and organising office activities and performing ad hoc tasks as assigned;
- reviewing the contents of office’s web pages;
- planning and organising staff development and social programmes; and
- overseeing all general office administration for the Office.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, with at least five years of relevant supervisory experience or in similar capacity. Applicants should also be self-motivated with strong communication and problem solving skills, able to work independently, be customer-oriented and a good team player.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
