- To ensure efficient delivery of good administrative support to the subject group of Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutics;
- To assist the Subject Group Leader in managing academic programmes, including quality assurance, programme publicity, student recruitment, records management, students and teaching/clinical staff support, preparing statistics and reports;
- To prepare and monitor annual budget;
- To liaise with internal units, local professional bodies and institutions in the Mainland;
- To perform general administration and serving committees;
- Mentor and supervise subordinate staff;
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Requirements: Candidates should possess a recognized degree with at least 4-5 years relevant administrative working experience. Preference will be given to candidates with programme management and publicity experience. Candidates should be independent, detail-minded, and able to work under pressure. They should have strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and good computer proficiency. Experience in development and operation of Applied learning courses is highly preferable.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
