Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be a member of the Talent Acquisition team and report to the Lead, Executive Recruiting.
Responsibilities
As a talent advisor to hiring managers, provide insights on the current state of the market including trends via market data, insights and candidate feedback/interactions
Build and present thorough, targeted, high-quality market maps for active requisitions or talent exploration executive requests
Leverage innovative sourcing channels and technology to provide a diverse candidate slate for all executive roles
Operate as a subject matter expert to set proactive search strategy, candidate identification and pipelining
Develop candidate slates and manage candidate relationships/experience for active requisitions
Conduct candidate interviews which includes screening for required technical skills, competencies and leadership capabilities to assess best qualified talent for the position
In partnership with the Executive Recruiter, lead candidate update meetings for hiring managers and human resources business partners
As a brand ambassador, demonstrate Amgen's values, be versed in career progression and potential company opportunities, DI&B initiatives and other enterprise wide priorities that are important to and resonate with executive candidates and potential prospects
Educate candidates on the specifics of the position as well as influence passive candidates to engage in the interview process with Amgen

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of recruiting experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of recruiting experience OR
Associate degree and 10 years of recruiting experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of recruiting experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Lifesciences (Biotech/Pharmaceutical) industry experience
Previous in house or executive recruiting/sourcing experience at the Executive Director, Vice President and C suite levels
Experience creating and developing market maps for candidate discovery and outreach
Provide sourcing subject matter expertise to recruiters, hiring managers, candidates and human resource partners regarding innovative tools, technology and data insights
Sense of urgency, manage multiple time critical and confidential searches simultaneously
Flex to accommodate shifting priorities while supporting multiple executive requisitions
Creative mindset in terms of strategic sourcing and talent attraction
Influencer with executive leaders and advisor to candidates throughout the recruitment process
Ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and drive for results
Demonstrates collaborative and team-oriented approach with colleagues, clients and candidates
Communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as executive level presentation skills for interactions with clients and candidates
Committed to providing a high touch and best in class experience for executive candidates and hiring managers
Knowledge of Client Relationship Manager (CRM) tools such as Smashfly, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office Suite and AI sourcing technologies
