Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will scout executive level talent for the enterprise. The Executive Talent Scout will report to the Lead, Executive Recruiting with dotted line to the Chief Human Resources Officer. In partnership with the Executive Team, Human Resources and other Talent Acquisition leaders, the Executive Scout will focus on gaining external talent insights, facilitating introductions of executive talent, produce industry or candidate research via requested project work, relationship build, and maintain an active source of competitive intelligence and industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
Manage executive referrals from senior leadership team
Research industry thought leaders and other high potential executive talent
Develop and manage relationships with external talent over long term period
Provide valuable context and high level of engagement to potential talent as a company insider and culture ambassador through targeted outreach campaigns
Develop and maintain metrics to measure success in role and return on investment
Leverage data and analytics to provide market insights to business leaders
Stay up to date on latest industry trends, competitive company information and executive movement
Work with LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Smashfly and other database systems or tools for executive pipeline and talent data management
Leverage interactions with executive talent, their referrals and extended networks to prompt introductory or exploratory conversations with Amgen
Facilitate regular dialogue with key talent to address and identify their career aspirations

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of research, scouting, recruiting, sourcing experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of research, scouting, recruiting, sourcing experience OR
Associate degree and 10 years of research, scouting, recruiting, sourcing experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of research, scouting, recruiting, sourcing experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years’ experience in a research, scouting, recruiting or sourcing role focused on executive level positions
Retained executive search firm experience
Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry experience
Research or sourcing experience using various innovative strategies and technologies
Expertise in screening and vetting executive level talent
Executive presence, communication and presentation skills
Can gain trust and credibility quickly, maintains confidentiality and works with integrity
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate shifting priorities
Relationship builder with emotional intelligence and networking skills
Comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated, persistent and drives for excellence
Attention to detail, organized and accountable for data management and tracking of talent in systems such as Smashfly or Workday
Team player, collaborative and open to learning new ways of working
Remote role, can be based anywhere in the US, must be willing to prioritize work hours during Pacific time zone as company is headquartered in California
