Main Functions:
• Leading and Development of IT Team Buses Mexico
- Ensuring and further developing the professional knowledge of the employees of the cross-site and global production processes and applications in the Daimler BUS environment
- Ensure and further develop the professional knowledge of the cross-site development processes and applications for global plants and units in the Daimler BUS, Daimler Truck, Daimler Van and MB Passenger Car environment
- Recruitment and development of new employees for local and module-specific responsibilities in the global and cross-site production environment as well as the development environment
- Further development of the employees regarding service organization and cross-site activities in global projects
- Further development / coaching of directly assigned experts regarding project work, global cooperation and support in technical topics as well as management
International Project Manager
- Management of project members in international projects at various locations
- Ensure the implementation of project specifications with project staff at various locations in the global production and development environment
• Information Officer Bus Mexico and module responsibility in the global Daimler Bus chassis production environment
- Responsible for ensuring the development, production and logistics processes and applications for the Monterrey plant as well as module responsibility for cross-site plants in the Daimler Bus chassis environment
- Demand management process - Acquire, analyze and evaluate customer requirements, perform actual analyzes and identify vulnerabilities. To develop scenarios and to develop target concepts and specifications for the implementation of the requirements within the framework of the predefined company and IT strategy at Daimler. Ensure the realization of the requirement. Training of specialist areas.
- Member of the PMT Panel for the prioritization and implementation of the global requirements in the IT production environment
- Innovative processes - Creation of a global innovative platform for the realization of process optimization, cross-site harmonization and cost savings
- Ensure local and global, on-demand availability of modules, IT services, applications and consulting.
- management consultancy and coordination during process and organizational change as well as decisions in the corresponding committees.
- Conception and realization of strategically developed implementation approaches in the global SAP BUS template
- Continuous further development of the IT functions in the modules in the global SAP BUS template
• Strategy, IT system landscape and projects
- Support and advice on IT landscape for the module responsibilities as well as communication and coordination with management regarding project portfolio and status.
- International / National Project Management - Reorganization Rollout and further development of processes and application systems in the global production and development environment. Consideration of the integration of subsystems into an overall company model
- Strategic development of the IT functions in the modules for the SAP production system taking into account IT developments and IT trends.
- Creation / planning / prioritization of IT system concepts within the framework of the company's IT strategy and taking into account the ability to integrate into an IT overall system, the profitability and potential benefits
- Participation in the preparation of the local IT strategy taking into account the overall IT strategy
- Evaluate and implement IT security measures
Qualifications
Training: University degree in IT or similar degree in IT Area
Experience: More then 5 years of experience in the areas of IT application, Conculting, Company processes, project management, compliance, multiple years of leadership experience in local and global environments
Specific Knowledge: IT Strategy and Conception, Project management, Process and application consulting, IT architecture, IT Operating model, SAP R/3, EDM, PDM, Standard IT Tools, IT Gremiums, Leadership, Shared Services Concepts, Contract and Supplier management, Detailed Process understanding for complex Buses production and engineering processes, Consulting methods, verbal and visual presentation, negotiation
Competencies: intercultural competency, multi project management
Languages: German and English fluent. (Mandatory)
