Eaton’s Aerospace Group, Interconnect Technology Division (ITD) is currently seeking an Expeditor to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA location. This opportunity is offering a competitive pay range starting at $20 - $25 based on experience plus full benefits. Position Overview: The Expeditor is responsible for expediting assigned purchase orders to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished including document delivery, efficient coordination, inspections, and on-time delivery. The position requires coordination and communication with all functions within the facility to ensure the effective operation of the department and the timely manufacture of shop orders. Qualifications Essential Functions: Establishing professional relationships with different stakeholders, both internal and external. Collaborating with project management in preparation for project review meetings. Receiving materials and inspecting them to verify accuracy, quality, and specifications. Facilitating the flow of materials among different departments and parties Examining job cost reports to find inconsistencies such as mischarges. Assuring cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse Collaborating with management to evaluate the reliability of vendors and suppliers, and to find solutions to ongoing problems. Performing clerical duties and maintaining accurate records and files about activities. Following established guidelines, policies, procedures, and instructions. Assuring timely processing and distributing all material, supplies, equipment, and equipment that are received for departmental or project purposes. Inspecting shipments records any damage or defects and notifies the supervisor and/or purchasing staff. Assisting in the maintenance of equipment and parts; initiates paperwork for purchasing additional quantities as necessary. Receiving all incoming materials, supplies, and equipment. To verify shipment accuracy, compare information on the packing slip and purchase order. Preparing purchasing and accounting paperwork, such as small purchase orders or requisitions. Also reconciles invoices and purchase orders to prepare for payment processing. Corresponding with suppliers to obtain quotations. Keeps in touch with vendors about the status of current purchase orders. Transporting materials, supplies, and equipment from the receiving location to the job site using hand trucks, push, roll, or carry. Maintaining inventory databases Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Camarillo will be considered for this position. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship Position Criteria: Experience with facilitating the flow of orders and materials between vendors, warehouses, and customers. Skilled in working with vendors and customers to accurately track and ensure promised delivery dates are met.
