DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION

As a Junior Experience Designer, you will contribute to crafting the digital strategy, brand experiences and fascinating outcomes such as products and services. At MADJOR, Experience Designers build the bridge between consumers’ needs and brands business objectives, working together with Strategy and Creative teams.

Experience Designers participate in brand immersion sessions and workshops, they assist in analysis and ideation of products/services, the experience delivered across different channels, interaction mechanisms; while consolidating recommendations in implementation roadmaps.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement:

• Analyze client's previous/current products/services, customer analytics, and digital strategy to fully understand the current landscape, what to leverage and how to improve.
• Collaborate with the Project Managers, Innovation and Business Strategists, UX/UI Designers and Researchers to strategize, plan and execute experience design outcome (product/service), its flow & interactions for users across platforms.

Project Excellence:

• Assist in defining clients’ problems & project goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services.
• Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-disciplinary partners.
• Execute and react in a fast-paced digital environment.
• Identify and present innovative and creative initiatives to drive sales and improve customer experience with the aim of exceeding sales targets.

REQUESTED COMPETENCIES

General:

• 1-3 years of experience with end-to-end Experience product and service design
• Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing
• Strong understanding of how to design distinctive user experiences
• Fluent in Chinese, good knowledge in English.

Design Requirements:

• Energized by complex problem solving and ability to conceptualize and create innovative solutions
• Distinct customer focus and result orientation
• Strong analytical mindset and classical strategy understanding
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to defend, present and influence client on design decisions
• Ability to work under pressure, manage client expectations effectively
• Ability to identify own sources of knowledge and contribute to internal sharing instances
• Ability to quickly acclimate to working in new multi-disciplinary teams
• Visual design skills, including use of a diverse set of software such as Sketch, Adobe suite, or other tools for graphic design, visual design are a must
• Prototyping skills is a plus
