Job Description

Responsible for Applied Materials Motion Suppliers manufacturing compliance from early NPI processes through Engineering transitions to sustained production. 

• Senior Motion Control engineer with vast experience in design and manufacturing methods of Motion modules (Stages, Mini stages) to lead a variety of suppliers worldwide
• Early engagement in NPI development processes, Leading Suppliers Engineering perspective and influencing product design to achieve Operational criteria, Suppliers optimized Testability (SPC) and Manufacturability.
• Professional lead and implementation of Ops Strategic sourcing projects such as Change/ Dual Source, Supplier Setup capacity increase, and CIP’s
• Supplier Quality control and effective resolution. Management through Analysis methods, Quality control mechanisms, and Supplier audits. 

Recruitments:

• Education: Engineering Degree in Electronics/Mechanics
• Experience: 7+ Years of experience as a Motion Engineer under relevant professional positions 
• Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering processes, Demonstrating in depth comprehensive understanding of multidisciplinary system interface
• Experience working with Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions and Sustained manufacturing processes.
• High Technical capabilities, Demonstrating in-depth comprehensive understanding within own discipline and wide knowledge of others.
• Experience working with Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions and Sustained manufacturing processes. 
• Travel: up to 20% (post COVID-19)
