We are looking for an experienced software and data engineer who will be responsible for the development of large-scale cloud-based solutions for chip-design, validation and manufacturing analytics.

The team is delivering data solutions, utilizing a modern data lakehouse cloud-based platform.
We are helping Intel's design teams make better data-driven decisions, starting with understanding their needs, modeling the data, implementing data flows and ETLs, and up to reporting and creating dashboards.

This is a unique opportunity to work on advanced solutions in the Big-Data, Cloud, and Data Analysis areas. 

Ownership includes:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (ETLs, Cubes\Dashboards when needed)
• Create and maintain ETLs written in Python (e.g. Python, Spark)
• Evaluate and improve existing BI solutions and data flows (C#, Python)

Develop and execute new data flows (C#, Python)

Qualifications

 Qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks
• Knowledge of SQL complex queries and optimizations
• Data modeling experience
• Proven experience in Python\C#\Java - at least 2 years of experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and Leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data engineering - Experience in Spark (preferably Databricks), Delta lake
• Data analytics - Experience in OLAP or Power-BI.
• Experience working in scrum\agile methodologies.
