The System Simulation and Modeling team is looking for experienced engineers to design, develop, integrate and validate CPU modules' models across multiple layers of the software stack spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI.

You will be working with top edge HW, SW and Validation Architects, designers and leaders in order to model and integrate Component and System level flows into a pure SW Virtual Platform that acts as reference virtual board for early SW development, Silicon validation and System level flows enablement.

You will be exposed to the latest and greatest technologies and will have the chance to influence and make an impact on the next generations of CPUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering from a well-known academic organization is a must
• Minimum of 6 years in SW development of multi-disciplinary systems / complex products
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python
• Deep understanding of HW/SW interfaces (registers, memory mapping, DMA, etc.
• System engineering experience and/or Large scale software systems experience is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications - One or more of the following skills is highly desired:

• High-performance computing, code profiling, performance optimization
• Experience with system level simulators and/or modeling
• Experience or ability to understand dive into debug including firmware, driver, or OS
• System software development experience and ability to learn quickly and gather knowledge on different new system domains (CPU, GPU , HSIO, Power Management)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
