Major Tasks & responsibilities:Global partner for all questions related to Electrical EngineeringØ Represent the technical competence for the assigned area at Covestro sites worldwideØ Provide guidance and support for projects, operation andmaintenanceØ Development and definition of global valid concept for electricalinstallations• Electrical networks and transformation• Low voltage distribution from 400V up to 690V• Power factor correction systems• Uninterruptible power supply• Lighting, lightning, earthing / grounding, EMC, potentialequalization• Installation in ex-proof areas• Electrical SafetyØ Global contact person for suppliers - and driver for development,market and technology evaluationØ Preparation and execution of presentations/briefings/training ofoperational, PCT and other technical staffØ Trouble shooting, analysis of malfunctions in PCT installationsand follow-up actionsØ Experience exchange with experts from othersub-groups/locations/businessØ Provide field support, and participate in check out, commissioningand start up Value Added:Additional tasksØ Development and fine tuning of documentation toolsØ Ensure the technology leadership due to usage of up-to-datetechnologyØ Usage of synergies for creating global concepts and standardsØ Strive for a sustainable added value while tacking investment andtechnology Work Relations:Ø Covestro Plants Electrical experts at engineering, maintenance andoperationsØ Covestro Service Organizations and other SubgroupsØ PCT project engineersØ PCT maintenance engineersØ Manufacturers and suppliers of Standard-equipment for electricalgoodsØ Procurement for technical goods within CovestroØ Engineering and Construction Companies Qualifications:Ø Bachelor in EE from top engineering university or similar(985/211universities)Ø Experience of working in overseas well-known electrical equipmentmanufacturerØ Experience of working in Chinese Design instituteØ Experience of working in well-known engineering firmØ Able to work with minimal directionØ 2+ years of experience in design and / or maintenance ofElectrical systems including switchgear, transformers, MCC, frequencyconverters and electric motors, arc fault and short circuit analysis,load studies, …….Ø 1+ years of working experience with international teamsØ Ability to understand and evaluate technical input forengineering concepts, drawings and strategiesØ Knowledge of relevant national and international standards in thearea of electrical distribution low/medium/high voltageØ Beneficial would be knowledge of High voltage systemsØ Basic knowledge of DCS systems, PLC, process control instrumentationand related sub-areasØ Excellent verbal and written skills in Chinese and EnglishØ Willing to join global meetings after normal working hours onoccasional basisØ Willing to do business trips to foreign countriesØ Open and trustful communication within the global team- other major financial magnitude to describe importance of the position:Influence to Managers responsibility of 75 Mio EUR- other non financial magnitude describing the complexity of the position

Expertise for accountable in electricalequipment/engineering for trouble shooting and RCA.
