As an Export Business Developer you will be responsible for setting down export business development strategy with Local Sales & Marketing Manager on behalf of the factory, in Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you will support the product development process from project specification to new product launch in target country.

Your responsibilities

  • Fulfilling the Export Business Development target and keeping the profit, selecting key potential country to seek more business chance and further develop with ASM (Area Sales Manager)
  • Setting down export business development strategy with Local Sales & Marketing Manager on behalf of the factory
  • Supporting the product development process from project specification to new product launch in target country. Assisting ASM and marketing teams in the launch and selling of new products and service
  • Approving special price discount application from Area sales manager and monitoring the competitions’ price dynamics in the market together with the Management.
  • Coordinating with GCS to find the best technical solution with proper product offering with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications.
  • Following closely the sales force to better support SU for the sales chance and business maintaining, ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships between ASM, SU and Operation
  • Using standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and monthly forecast to factory

Your background

  • 5 years’ experience in marketing and sales management of Automation Products, Global working experience is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of motors application
  • Must be customer-orientated, strategy thinking, strong personal leadership, good in change management.
  • Good PC skills, Microsoft office etc.
  • A bachelor’s degree in automation, electrical engineering or other majors related
  • Fluency in English
