Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the role will be responsible for leading the Office Administrative work in LR Beijing office and providing administrative support to the External Affairs from Beijing office, further taking lead in managing all digital media including social media channels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior leaders in LR China to ensure that the Beijing office can provide the best administrative support and get all the employees and visitors a feeling like at home
- Maintain and nurture government and industrial associations relationships with key stakeholders in Beijing; support to develop and implement External affairs programs that promote good will and foster relationships with the client’s leaders, local regulators
- Organize and support HQ's global executives' visits to China, particularly their engagement with senior government officials, and government officials' visits to HQ, assisting on invitation letters, scheduling, managing logistics, responding to inquiries and taking meeting minutes
- Ensures that office work areas are fully stocked and maintained neatly, responsible for purchase orders and the monthly reconciliation of expenses from LR Beijing office, as well as the basic financial tracking and management for the office
- Monitors the office facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained; including ensuring that office is ready for business at the start of each day
- Oversees the maintenance and repair of standard office equipment such as copiers, coordinate with key suppliers such as property management, print, design, events and advertising/PR
- Support on rolling out successful promotional campaigns, content marketing and social selling
- Fields general inquiries from callers and visitors, handling general matters and referring more complex matters as appropriate
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Requirement:
- Strong oral, written communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leadership both internal and external
- Good knowledge of Chinese government/political system and a profound understanding of China's Testing, Inspection and Certification industry will be a plus
- Solid experience in a marketing communications, external affairs or executive administrative role within a B2B facing organization, good attention to the details.
- Ideally within a multinational organization working with various stakeholders in different business units. The role will be fast paced and must be able to work with senior stakeholders
- A self-starter with strong discipline, hardworking, and a positive and enthusiastic attitude, high ethics, and a demonstrated track record of working successfully under pressure
- Experience in using information management tools such as Excel, Access
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both verbal and written
