What You Will Do

  • Development and execution of integrated national value, access and policy/advocacy/government affairs as well as pricing strategy in collaboration with country management that delivers against overall long-term business strategy
  • Negotiations with Hungarian government authorities to gain/maintain reimbursement for Amgen’s products.
  • Strategic leadership of external engagement plans and senior spokes-person for Amgen Hungary
  • Development and implementation of Hungarian policy plan and accountable for critical relationships with government, advocacy groups and other key external stakeholders

What We Expect Of You

  • 8-10 years experience preferable in innovative pharmaceutical company in similar position and experience in commercial related position
  • University degree, MBA is an advantage
  • Fluency in English, native Hungarian
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage in productive debate and collaboration with senior leaders.
  • Mature business person with strong business acumen who has experience in delivering on political access for pharmaceuticals in the country
  • Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration & advocacy.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong strategic planning skills—both at the product and country (cross-portfolio) levels.
  • National experience and track record of achievements
  • Understanding of strategic pricing and contracting, including innovative approaches such as risk-sharing deals
  • “can do” and positive attitude
