Department Description:

External Final Manufacturing – China Region:

Manage Semiconductor Assembly and Test Manufacturing outsource in China. Covering from New Product Introduction to operations management including Delivery, Cost, Yield and Quality.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

• Manage China assembly subcontractors manufacturing execution to meet delivery, yield, cycle time and quality Requirements
• Coordinate with Business Units, technical and engineering teams in Europe, US and Asia to develop and deploy package & process solution. Close technical and quality gaps, certify technology and qualify product in China IC subcontractors
• Lead and manage product transfers, capacity expansion, cost reduction projects in China Subcontractors
• Bring up Subcontractors to meet customers’ requirements by supporting customers audit, production readiness audit and process capability audit
• Work with quality team to resolve any reported customer quality issues, drive continuous quality improvement with the subcontractors.
• Execute continue improvement programs on manufacturing performance in subcontractors

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years work experience in semiconductors industry. Familiar with bumping and WLCSP process and manufacturing operations.
• Experience on NPI start-up, production operation management, yield & cost improvement, SPC, FMEA, 8D & DOE is preferred.
• Good English and Chinese communication skills in both oral and written.
• This position is based in Nantong/Suzhou. Frequent travel is required.
• Experience in Automotive Business is an added advantage.
