Construction of the largest full-service Marriott-branded hotel in Shanghai, Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre opened its doors on 24 November, 2011. Located aside People's Square and Park on Xi Zang Middle Road, the Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre enjoys a premium downtown location. Nanjing Pedestrian Street is a 30 second stroll from the hotel's street entrance. The BUND, Suzhou Creek and the lively Xintiandi are all within easy walking distance.

 

 




MAJOR FUNCTION 主要 :


 


To administer the day to day operations of the restaurant outlet in such a manner as to maximize revenues and minimize costs with particular attention to complete guest satisfaction, associate welfare, and profit margins.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES 責任概要 :


 


  1. Directly responsible for the restaurant area, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the hotel.

  2. Responsible to maintain the overall welfare of our associates by providing them with the training and resources to take care of our guests.

  3. Achieve departmental budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.

  4. Be responsible for the monthly department Profit & Loss Statement.


处理就餐区域内的工作在宾馆的规范制度下确保餐厅运作正常,并获得利润


确保员工的各种福利,提供员工职业培训和各种资源以实现更好的服务


实现部门的预算指标通过激增销售合理支出来获得利润

SPECIFIC DUTIES 工作任務 :


 


OPERATIONS


  1. Preparation of the yearly department budget by using history & forecasting techniques to develop an aggressive budget that reflects the achievable capabilities.

  2. Accurately forecast business demands to ensure efficient staffing & food production.

  3. To ensure the efficient scheduling of management & associates.

  4. To ensure the awareness & enforcement of all Marriott S.O.P.’s & Property L.S.O.P.’s.

  5. Enforce operational Standards that are periodically reviewed & updated.

  6. Be responsible for maintaining outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times.

  7. Enforce Marriott’s GFS checklist by having all outlets inspected on a monthly basis.

  8. Be responsible for asset management of all outlet property & facilities.

  9. Conduct a preventative maintenance inspection on a weekly basis.

  10. Enforce Marriott’s Principles of Hospitality at all times.

  11. Above all, to lead by example through a “hands on” approach to motivate our associates to excel.

HUMAN RESOURCES


 


  1. Develop and implement management training plans for subordinate managers and supervisors on a quarterly basis in conjunction with HRD. Also initiates development plans for hourly associates and follows up on their progression.

  2. Implement a departmental daily “15 Minute” training program. Works together with the chef and beverage manager on proper taste panels.

  3. Be responsible for the execution of all associate performance reviews in a professional and timely manner.

  4. Be responsible for all aspects of associate management including hiring, discipline in conjunction with the Director of Restaurants & F&B manager.

  5. Conduct an effective monthly associate meeting with minutes and P&A forwarded to the GM, F&B and HRD.

  6. To supervise the completion & critique of the wage progress report on a weekly basis.

  7. Practice “open door” policy to all associates.


以每季度为基准与人事部门主管联系开展和实施部门经理和管理人员的管理培训计划


每日进行15分钟的职业培训课程


从专业的角度及时的完成员工的工作表现评定工作


负责员工的管理工作包括雇佣处罚等事项


每月开一个简单有效的员工会议并上报给经理部门经理和人事部主管


每周完成工资进度报告的评估。


考察员工的“迎客”条例规范


 


ADMINISTRATIVE


  1. Be responsible for all accounting and billing procedures in the outlets.

  2. Be responsible for the accurate supervision of the associate time control and payroll systems by working with Accounting and HRD.

  3. Periodically plan outside associate activity to promote teamwork.

  4. Promote positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation.

  5. Respond to guest inquiries or concerns within 24 hours in what is deemed the appropriate manner.

  6. Perform any reasonable request made of management which is not life threatening or against the law.

  1. Be aware of all Marriott Guest Incentive programs and the correct accounting procedures pertaining to them.

  2. Develop & execute plans and actions for the marketing of the outlet. Works with the Director of Restaurants strategize new initiatives.

  3. Be aware of competitors in the market & complete a competition analysis on a quarterly basis.
