Job Description

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and within the limits established by the policies and procedures manual of the company and F&B Department, your responsibility will be to provide food and beverage service at the assigned point of sale. Maximize customer satisfaction by anticipating customer requests, responding positively to special requests.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Supervise the restaurant and bar team in all aspects of the department and ensure that service standards are met.
  • Maximize revenue by increasing sales and following budget guidelines.
  • Handle customer concerns, reacting quickly and professionally to customer requests.
  • Operational balance and identify team needs.
  • Be fully aware of all menus and promotions.
  • Ensure that co-workers are fully aware of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods served.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
  • All analogous and/or equivalent functions inherent to the job performance itself.
  • Develop in cooperation with the Venue Assistant Manager new drink and cocktail menus and specials.
  • Establish and develop beverage preparation and service training.
  • Participate in cocktail promotion activities at local, national and international level. 
  • Develop together with the Director of Gastronomy, special cocktails for events. 
  • Ensure that the fire procedure and the hotel's Occupational Health and Safety protocols are followed in the department.
  • Ensure that any suspicious activity or anything unusual is reported immediately.
  • All those analogous and/or equivalent, inherent to the professional performance itself.
  • Respect all measures and protocols of occupational risk prevention, social distancing, cleaning and disinfection.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Commitment to service.
  • Hospitality or similar studies.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of first aid.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Experience in bar and cocktail service.
  • Food handler's license (essential).
