During your internship within our Banqueting department, you have the opportunity to be part of the daily activities of the Magnifique meetings team. By working alongside a team responsible for setting up the rooms, the service during the event, and the rounding off, you are introduced to various styles of meeting set-ups and customers. • Your internship starts in August 2021 for a minimum period of 5 months or longer
• Enrolled in a hospitality management study
• Work in an accurate manner with attention to detail
• Willing to learn, show initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Excellence English skills, Dutch is a plus

The team of the Grand is young and full of passion and motivation. Personal growth is very important for Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam and that is why we have a full time training manager in our hotel. We offer trainees responsibility and personal coaching to help you to develop your personal skills. Also there is a possibility to do cross training in other departments to broaden your knowledge about the hotel industry. The internship fee will be €500 gross. Depending on your living place, a travel allowance is possible and you may have lunch or dinner in the staff restaurant during working hours free of charge.
