Come intern with Intel's F11X. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. University experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. You must be actively enrolled in school and not graduated to work as a student intern. We are seeking students to work long term as a student intern part-time while attending school and full-time while on breaks from school (i.e. summer break).

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Optics, Physics, Material Science, or similar technical engineering discipline.
• 3+ months of experience with programs such as Python, MS office, Power Bi, Statistical Analysis.
• 3+ months of experience with design of experiment (DOE)

These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related  job experience.  This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of substrate manufacturing.
• Knowledge of optoelectronics and optical transceiver components is a plus.
• Programming knowledge especially Python.
• Experience in photonics, optoelectronics, semiconductor physics and/or device physics.
• Experience in failure analysis techniques.
