Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including:
Operations, equipment's, process and training.
Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
Perform operational tasks, preventative maintenance and/or assist in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.
In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.
This position is located in Rio Rancho, relocation will not be offered.
This position is open on Compressed Schedule night shifts 4, 6 and day shifts 5 and 7.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
A candidate can be consider for a Technical Graduate/Entry Level position if they have a high school diploma/GED and meet one of the following:
An Associates or Bachelors degree in STEM or Technical degree in Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering Technology or related fields
Certification program in areas related to the job requirements For Example: plumbing, welding, carpentry, electrical, mechanics (diesel, car, avionics), HVAC, water treatment, life safety systems, robotics, instrumental, machinist
Military experience in areas such but not limited to Electronics, Mechanical, IT, technology, engineering , mathematics
or related fields to the job requirements including ability to demonstrate basic knowledge in mechanical repair, schematic/wiring diagram reading, mechanical/electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical/electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment/basic tools
This position is not open for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preventative Maintenance on production equipment may require mechanical aptitude, walking up to 3 miles in a 12hour shift, lifting up to 35lbs and/or standing/sitting for extended periods of time.
The use of job-specific fixtures, basic hand tools, and airline supplied respirators (could be required) and spend the majority of the time (>90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, processing WIP.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in related hands-on maintenance experience
- 1+ years of Semiconductor experience is a plus
- Computer skills are desired
