We have an opportunity for FLSM (First Line Sales Manager) based in Athens to join Diabetes team.
As a First Line Sales Manager, in AstraZeneca, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We make the most of your skills and passion by actively supporting you to see what you can achieve no matter where you start with us.
This position will report directly to the NSM Diabetes.
Key Roles/ Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and tactics to provide optimal resource allocation in alignment with the brand strategy
- Implement Key Account Management working to ensure SMART Business Plan Objectives achieved within predicted time
- Work with individual Reps/Product Specialists to develop appropriate/challenging goals within each territory
- Lead, coach and manage team of Reps/Product Specialists. Develop individuals to high in call performance skills and coach team members on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings to give direction and follow up best practices
- Actively participate in annual business reviews with the NSM and the regional team
- Coordinate and align cross-functional activities and team members with overall account objectives and provide guidance, leadership and motivation for Reps/Product Specialists in support of overall business mission
- Possesses comprehensive and specialized scientific, clinical and therapeutic knowledge in Cardiovascular/Diabetes, has leading edge awareness of the latest research and developments, and exhibits the drive to continually build individual knowledge over time
- Have granular knowledge about patient demographics and needs of diabetes patient populations and understands the patient journey and treatment choices
- Be compliant with all external regulations and internal policies while ensure broader AZ team is compliant and enforce compliance in the internal team
The successful candidate profile should have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s Degree (will be considered an asset)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharma industry (Cardiovascular/Diabetes treatments experience will be preferred)
- Experience as people manager of a small to medium sized team(will be considered an asset)
- Proven key account management & cross functional working
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed coaching skills
- Strategic and Analytical thinking
- Commercial Awareness and business acumen
- Highly motivated, target driven and results oriented
- Fluency in English and Greek language
