Job title: (Senior) FP&A Analyst

Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance China

Working location: Shanghai, China

Job Purpose:

• Support China FP&A manager for all monthly closing, reporting and forecasting activities
• Support Metal and Fabrics regional controllers for regular financial reporting

Responsibilities:

• Work in China regional headquarter to collect and consolidate monthly financial submissions from China JVs’ Finance teams including things like Financials, Bridges, Sales and Volume, Capital Expenditures, Productivity & R&O, etc.
• Update Monthly and Quarterly Regional Financial Reporting including various P&L Reporting and analytics
• Support BU Controllers (SS&M and Fabrics) with monthly closing/forecast reporting
• Load China JVs’ closing, Forecast, Profit Plan & Strat Plan equity inputs into Hyperion (including but not limited to Sales, EBITDA, equity, investment, etc.)
• Create bridges, walks and reconciliations as needed in order to explain major drivers in the financial results
• Work with members of finance, HFM COE and IT to resolve HFM data and system issues for China finance teams
• Set up and distribute MEC schedules for China JVs’ Finance teams based on regional and global communications
• Build Excel and PowerPoint Templates for China finance team to leverage for monthly & quarterly Business Reviews as well as Profit Plan & Strategic Plan Reviews
• Improve China regional Closing, Forecast, Profit Plan & Strat Plan templates based on business demand and global requirements (including but not limited to Sales and Volume, LTA, PACT, BBP, Sustainability, CI etc.)
• Create new reporting tools, analytics, dashboards and templates as needed
• Support total regional analytics on total Forecast, Annual Operating Plan, Strat Plan & Financial Results to understand the story
• Act as system expert for reporting tools (HYPERION, SAP, QAD)
• Support ad hoc projects or business requests.
• Have a good understanding of US GAAP Reporting in order to compile and analyze total regional GAAP P&L

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in finance or accounting
• Experience in a multinational company in FP&A function for at least 3 years, preferable in an industrial or B-B business environment
• Big 4 working experience is preferred
• CPA or CMA qualification is preferred
• Familiar with US GAAP, Chinese accounting regulation
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Experience with HFM/SAP/QAD is preferred
