Position Description: **Position Title: FP&A Specialist, MBG Asia Pacific ** Location: Gurgaon Functional Area: FP&A/Reporting/Accounting Education Required: Professional degree in Finance (CA) or MBA (Finance) is preferred Experience Required: 5-7 Years Reporting to: FP&A Head, MBG Asia Pacific Job Objective Working closely with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, sales team and leadership team to provide stakeholders with forecast data, actuals as well as variance analysis and recommendations to realize the business’s strategic goals. Understand & Management of different reporting and operational systems and analyzing the financial details basis management requirement. This person will be working very closely with sales and function leaders to manage their respective PnLs and drive profitability goals for the teams and for the organization. Job Responsibilities • Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the company’s business. • Accurately translate business initiatives into business case by interlocking with Geo finance controllers, Sales teams and internal back-end teams • Understand & manage the P&L with different systems to manage. Identifying the process gaps and aligning the processes with SOP’s. • To prepare and approve the budget, expenses of the business units and other expenses. To manage the overall profitability of the business. • To play an important role in the AOP sessions. • Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications. Coordinate the capital spending review process for the company. • To prepare and review the closing reports and analyze GLs at journal entry level (INE and Profit and Loss) • Lead scenario modelling efforts for the development and growth of the portfolio. Participate as a key thought leader of the global finance team. • Lead the strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company. Support the strategic business planning process. Monitor competitive dynamics of the sectors (liaise with sector associates) • Prepare presentations in support of board and stakeholder meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings and various strategic committees of the company. • Coordinate capital review meetings, pre-review vetting process and all aspects of formal capital appropriation request (CAR) documentation. • Managing the KPI’s and aligning the database in different reporting systems. SAP & BPC reporting system working knowledge will be added advantage. • Partner with accounting, treasury, tax as appropriate Key Performance Indicators: • Monthly and Quarterly Closing Reports (INE/ P&L) • Prepare and approve the budget, expenses • Overall & Product Level Profitability • Validity of forecasts • Accuracy of all information provided • Coordination with GTM/Accounting teams • Supporting business stakeholders with correct financial information Personal skills: • Problem solving skills • Self starter • Ability to design and built efficient processes - drive change through innovation • Clear, open and honest communicator, Fluent in spoken and written English • Possess strong business acumen and the ability to identify business drivers behind financial numbers • Ability to take charge, prioritize, stay organized, and pay attention to details while working in a fast paced environment. • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism #### Position Requirements: Qualifications 1\. University graduate in the domain of Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline (CA); An MBA degree is an advantage but not mandatory. 2\. Minimum 3-4 years relevant experience in similar profile 3\. Prior experience of multinational, remote team collaboration is mandatory Other Requirements 1\. Possess strong business acumen and the ability to identify business drivers behind financial numbers 2\. Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time independently under conditions of uncertainty, ability to manage multiple and changing priorities 3\. Proficiency on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must; Prior experience with SAP is an advantage 4\. Demonstrated integrity and professionalism 5\.
