As part of Intel, the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is poised to deliver high-quality, timely, and differentiating FPGA solutions to our customers. In line with that, PSG is looking for a FPGA Architect to join our dynamic and growing team.
As a FPGA Architect you will:
Determines, specifies, and evaluates the viability of complex hardware features and structures and ensures that software and hardware designs interface correctly.
Designs framework for particular functions.
Prototypes soft FPGA IP to identify architectural bottlenecks and explore new architectural features.
Defines, documents, and tests processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, input/output, and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses.
Influences the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families.
Provides multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of total experience inclusive of:
RTL (Verilog/VHDL) development experience
Python/Perl (e.g. tool automation and scripting)
Preferred Qualifications
DSP/MATLAB
Building high-speed FPGA IP for FEC, DSP, and AI applications
Experience developing a hard IP on advanced process nodes (28nm and lower)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$148,930.00-$238,410.00
