Develops and supports digital circuit design for cutting edge high speed protocols (PCIe, USB, CXL). Performs custom digital circuit design and simulation. Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for use in digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters. Performs digital circuit design, verification and layout, data path design and digital block synthesis.
Qualifications
- Must study either a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering/Science- Experience with RTL design (VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog) - Advantage- Experience with gate-level understanding of RTL and synthesis (i.e., understand what RTL looks like/behaves like after it is synthesized into gates) - Advantage- Experience with using any simulator (Modelsim, VCS, etc) - Advantage- Experience with basic lab equipment such as Logic analyzers, scopes, protocol analyzers, etc. - Advantage
