Job Description

As part of Intel, the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is poised to deliver high-quality, timely and differentiating FPGA solutions to our customers. In line with that, PSG is looking for FPGA Technical Marketing Manager to join our dynamic and growing team.

As an FPGA Technical Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for championing Intel's FPGA power and performance capabilities across the full portfolio of PSG's current and future FPGA products. You will be expected to understand Intel FPGA products, research, and analyze competitor's products, develop go-to-marketing strategies, and orchestrate technical messaging for maximum business impact. You will be the subject matter expert for your area of responsibility and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Technical marketing of FPGA product capabilities in power, performance, thermal, and packaging domains.

  • Position Intel FPGA product capabilities in the market by translating technical data into differentiated value proposition for customers.

  • Drive and coordinate competitive benchmarking efforts across the organization.

  • Work with cross-functional teams that includes engineering, planning, applications engineering, and business divisions to develop and execute on FPGA product requirements.

  • Serve as customer advocate in internal engineering forums with a goal to deliver high quality solutions.

  • Support sales enablement activities including but not limited to customer presentations, sales aids, training, feature releases, and product change requests.

  • Develop win-win customer outcomes through issue resolution, communication, and prioritization.

  • Collaborate with sales and customers to respond to RFPs/RFQs and develop winning strategies to win customer designs.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of semiconductor (or related) industry experience inclusive of:

  • Technical marketing, product marketing, or technical customer support/applications engineering role and/or experience with hardware, thermal design, power, and/or performance evaluation for hardware components and/or end systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of semiconductor (or related) industry experience

  • Experience with user applications and across data center, communications and/or embedded.

  • Experience in FPGA technical marketing, product marketing, or technical customer support role.

  • Experience with packaging technologies and PCB design.
