Fab/Sort Manufacturing (FSM) is the largest group within Intel's Technology Manufacturing Group (TMG) with worldwide facilities and operational spending of billions of dollars per year. FSM is responsible for Intel's high-volume wafer manufacturing of microprocessors, chipsets, and other devices.
This role requires proficiency and working knowledge of finance, accounting and business analysis. Autonomously evaluates and analyzes financial information and business trends to develop reconciliations, variance explanations, risk assessments, and solutions. Provides central consolidation of spending and headcount for Fab Sort Manufacturing (FSM) using a variety of tools and systems. This role drives finance reviews and participate in discussions and report-outs during close/plan cycles with controllers. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
In addition, a successful candidate must be capable to work independently, communicate in a clear/concise manner and develop business partnering relationships across different organizational levels and geographical locations, understanding customers' critical agenda and proactively contributed to making it happen also respond rapidly to changes in the customer's environment. The analyst should have a passion and an aptitude for analysis, automation and process improvement, be energized by new challenges such as learning new technical skills on the job, solving problems without clear or known answers and feel comfortable in dealing with a non-standardized and ambiguous environment).

Problem Solving: Able to define root cause of complex problems, establish effective solutions and work with others on the resolution of issues. Assesses the impact of solutions on areas outside of own responsibility
Financial analysis: Ability to work with large, complex data sets and draw conclusions from data and recommend actions. Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into management level summaries.
Process Improvement: Willingness to optimize Data including but not limited to Power BI, Automation, Predictive Financial Modeling, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
5+ years' experience of combined experience in finance, accounting and business analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Advanced English level.
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
Factory acumen will be considered as a plus
Prior Spending-FPNA experience or knowledge is preferred
