As a Fab Facilities Engineer: Chemical and Gas Delivery Systems  your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Own safety within your area of influence and being a safety role model.
  • Use engineering skills and disciplined analytics and problem solving to deliver best-in-class system reliability including safe, uninterrupted factory operation.
  • Plan and coordinate work with engineering and technician teams.
  • Drive improvement projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborate across multiple functions to coordinate work in the field and ensure compliance to existing facilities and environmental standards, specifications, codes and processes.
  • On-call responsibilities; act as first point of contact for all engineering related issues.
  • Maintain Plan of Record documentation and specifications governing system design, troubleshooting, and operations.
  • Coordinate with key suppliers to ensure the latest and most cost-effective solutions are implemented and that technical accuracy is maintained in master specifications and standards.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline and 1+ years of engineering experience in at least one of the following:
    • Industrial chemical or gas delivery or management systems.
    • Semiconductor factory or facilities role.

  • Masters of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Semiconductor manufacturing, including fab and assembly/test, with understanding of high-volume manufacturing and technology development concepts and challenges.
    • Facilities operations or fab tool ownership.
    • Statistical Process Control.
    • Working in a production environment and/or with other facilities process systems.
    • Project planning, coordination, and integration.
    • Bulk Chemical Delivery or Bulk/Specialty Gases system ownership.
    • Writing procedures, system specifications, and other forms of technical writing to support sustaining of new equipment.
