Our Fab Facilities Operations Group (FFO) is hiring a Facilities Ultrapure Engineer for our Ocotillo, AZ campus; home to 4 wafer fabrication factories with 2 additional under construction.

As a Fab Facilities Ultrapure Water Engineer  your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Own safety within your area of influence and being a safety role model.
• Use engineering skills and disciplined analytics and problem solving to deliver best-in-class system reliability including safe, uninterrupted factory operation.
• Daily planning and coordination of work with engineering and technician teams.
• Drive improvement projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate across multiple functions to coordinate work in the field and ensure compliance to existing facilities and environmental standards, specifications, codes and processes.
• Maintain Plan of Record documentation and specifications governing system design, troubleshooting, and operations.
• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with key suppliers to ensure the latest and most cost-effective solutions are implemented and that technical accuracy is maintained in master specifications and standards.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least one of the following:

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in water/water treatment/wastewater facilities engineering.

• Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in water/water treatment/wastewater facilities engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience:
  • Industry related facilities water systems design, operations and maintenance.
  • Facilities water systems, chemical and/or mechanical engineering principles, including chemical piping, neutralization, filtration, pumps, valves, flow calculations and chemical analytical testing.
  • Demonstrated application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.
• PE registration or EIT certification.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
