Role Responsibilities :

• Responsible for new fabric development, fabric trend presentation, key seasonal trend overview for all fabric types for garment
• Design & develop ‘own fabric’ range collections to be presented quarterly to the business
• Create range presentation calendar and work to set deadlines
• Key Fabric contact person responsible to co-ordinate seasonal fabric ‘wish list’ with head office teams
• Attend Trade shows, conduct mill and shop visits to research the new product trends and technology
• Increase NS sales by developing commercial trend fabrics
• Work closely with fabric technical team to comply with NEXT requirements

Job Requirements :

• Degree holder in related disciplines
• Possess comprehensive fabric knowledge including all Woven & Cotton knit
• Understand fabric capabilities by country
• Sound market awareness about sourcing price, minimum order quantity, lead time etc.
• Strong awareness of UK testing requirements and standards
• Be able to identify NEXT customers’ wish list and taste level
• Good fashion sense and commerciality
• Good team player, great communication and organization skills
• Willing to travel to head office, offshore countries and mills
