Responsibilities岗位职责:

1.Closely work with VP of MD, business unit departments and designers in transforming technical translation of design ideas to bulk production

2.Research and develop new fabric according to design ideas

3.Undertanding of market trends and key fabric innovations – present these to PD & D, BU’s

3.Evaluate supplier capability and negotiate best prices for the brand

4.Identify and tackle potential fabric and materials technical issues before bulk production

5.Keep abreast of market information / new technology applying to textile industry to improve supplier performance

6.Evaluate and monitor the performance of vendors / mills to ensure the fabric quality standard

7. Responsible for fabric technical requirements including lab-testing

8.Maintain an up to date fabric library with running and new seasonal fabrics

Job Requirements岗位要求:

1.Experience in sourcing, product development or merchandising in woven & knit

2.Strong technical background in garment with both woven & knit fabrics

3.Sound negotiation and interpersonal skills

4.Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin is essential
