职责描述：

Mission

• Develop and maintain supply streams of innovative and competitive Fabric using suppliers who respond to our aesthetic, quality and flexibility needs
• Support the Design and Buying teams by sourcing and developing innovative raw materials, with the best quality, lead times and pricing for the brands fabric needs.

Key Duties & Activities

1. Management of the Fabric Development & Production Process

The Fabric Development and Sourcing Technologist supports the Buying teams by :-

? Initiate and maintain stock fabric library to fulfill our new now small MOQ / fast lead-time strategy

? Set up and maintain a competitive supplier network across the main sourcing regions able to meet the aesthetic and production needs of the business

? Offer guidance on relative raw material costs based on garment selling prices and margin expectations

? Ensure suppliers follow the Group’s quality requirements

? Identify fabric synergies between categories/products thus improving buying power and consistency across product

2. Market Monitoring

? Prepare and share reports with buying team on new running or big quantity fabrics in the partner mills

? Be market aware through regular participation in professional fabric trade fairs worldwide - feedback on new innovations and fabric developments.

? Communicate effectively through multi-media, seasonal developments and wider industry trends eg environmental impacts, fibre price trends.

任职要求：

? At least 5 - 7 solid relevant experience in Fabric Sourcing

? Strong fabric supplier network in China. Experience with other Asian bases will be an advantage

? Strong negotiation and influencing skills. A team player.

? Good English and communication skills
