In this position, you will lead, manage start-up and commissioning of the facilities systems of newly installed equipment from project initiation till handover to operations and Fab customers, validate performance and spec compliance by designated procedures and practices.

This is an on-site position and work will be performed in-person at the Columbus, Ohio (New Albany) , relocation assistance will be provided.

As a Facilities Commissioning Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Perform qualified technical background including field experience in the discipline.
  • Ensure that installations are performed by Intel Master Specifications, Intel [SID] Standard Installation Details, State and Local Codes UMC, UBC UPC and NFPA, SMACNA Standards, and International Codes, and ASME.
  • Manage site commissioning program, set up standardization indicators tracking and systemization.
  • Integrate FCE, OPS, and contractor in multiple contract environments of MP, CM, DB.
  • Interface with Intel operations commissioning manager/System Owners/Engineers and Techs on matters affecting the project quality of work and system operation.
  • Assist Intel and trades in identifying and solving construction problems.
  • Perform all necessary inspections and equipment signoff requirements.
  • Participate in SOP and perform SIPP and Pre-Task Plan audits for compliance to Intel requirements.
  • Resolve technical construction questions and answer discipline-specific RFIs.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree of Science or Engineering or Instrumentations and Controls or related field with 6+ years of experience in Facilities Commissioning or Equipment Startup in support of major high tech construction projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in Facilities Commissioning or Equipment Startup in support of major high-tech construction projects will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of semiconductors experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in:
    • Equipment and system P/IDs understanding, specifications, and drawings and identifying field discrepancies for resolution.
    • The respective disciplines (EL, ME, PI, AR, LSS) to drive quality testing and documentation.
    • Area Layout.
    • Local and national codes; construction drawings/symbols; acceptable industry-standard/practices.
    • Micro schedule for pre-facilitation, understanding of the sequence of construction activities, and tool sequence.
