FMS LSS and I/C are part of Corporate Services and are responsible for equipment that Life Safety systems under Fire and HPM , FMS, IandC are responsible for all of the monitoring and control of CS facilities using PLCs. As a Group Leader within these disciplines (GL) you will manage a group of technicians in this team and report directly to the FMS LSS IandC Area Manager. You will be responsible for the delivery of world-class functional area operational performance in safety, quality, and maintenance, technical and non-technical training, reliability, cost, process control, productivity and performance management.
The position will be a Regular Workweek position but will include AM cover and on-call.
Responcibilities:
Sustaining ownership of day-to-day operations including ensuring sufficient headcount for Preventative Maintenance , incident follow up and investigation and meeting productivity goals.
Responsible for the people development and management, and promoting positive working relations between engineers, technicians and other areas
In the field participation with frequent floor presence is expected.
Fostering a growth mindset for continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
The GL is expected to coach employees, establish and manage area priorities, set direction, and clearly communicate to team members on the critical items.
The GL needs to provide excellent written and verbal communications to their direct management and to senior stakeholders across the organization. GL may be asked to represent CS at fab pass down and be the single point of contact for CS to respond to both safety and quality events.
People management responsibilities will include all aspects of team health, including staffing, technical coaching, skills development, training and proficiency, performance management and organizational health for the team.
This a people management role with a strong emphasis on technical ability

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
You must have a strong technical background in FMS , LSS systems and working knowledge
Good presentation skills and ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; engineering peers to operational technicians to management.
People management Role of 5 years +
Preferred Qualifications
Has a strong desire to work in the people management aren
Minimum 5 years' experience in management
Ideally has a strong knowledge of the CS FMS/I and C, LSS area and how it interacts with other areas and customers
Strong experience in Operations and project environments
Has a proven track record in working with various customers in sometimes difficult circumstances
Experience in investigation of Operation issues will be an advantage . Co-ordinating team to ensure succinct information to get containment and root cause efficiently
