As a Facilities Electrical Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Preventive and predictive maintenance of all the electrical distribution systems.
• Work from drawings, schematics and other documentation.
• Conduct daily rounds and readings.
• Working closely with Engineering to establish total predictive maintenance procedures and cost models.
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on standard assignments. May provide guidance to lower level nonexempt employees, and design support to Engineering.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

• Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree with 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems.

• Military experience with 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems.

• Journeyman Electrician License.

• 5+ years of field experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The candidate must be willing to work in heavy personal protective equipment including a Level 4 arc flash protection suit outside with high temperature and the ability to lift to 30 lbs. and pull 250 lbs.

• 3+ years of experience in the following:
  • Commissioning and maintenance requirements of electrical facility systems.
  • Electrical distribution (up to 15 KV)
  • Emergency generators
  • Switchgear
  • Service entrance station
  • Substation
  • Uninterrupted power system
  • Medium and low voltage breakers
  • Motors
  • Motor control centers, drives, and starters.

• 1+ years of experience in the following:
  • National Electrical Code (NEC70), Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment.
  • Maintenance (NFPA 70B), and Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E).
  • Facilities control systems infrastructure, operations, design, and commissioning.
  • Mechanical, water purification, industrial waste facility systems.
  • Field instrumentation (i.e. flow and level transmitters, control valves, etc.).
