Job Summary The Facilities Engineer is the first line responsible for the needs of the machinery, electro mechanics and the building regarding maintenance for the assigned areas. Responsible for building maintenance, savings projects, managing contractors, development of work procedures and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of the facilities. Primary Responsibilities The Building Engineer is responsible for monitoring and the needs of the assigned area based on the following criteria: Teamwork with co-workers, for the execution of preventive maintenance of the building. Monitoring equipment problems and action plans to correct them. Follow the needs of the area regarding maintenance and make a direct plan to achieve them. Schedule activities with contractors, suppliers specialized in construction issues and building modifications. Creation of work permits for contractor activities as well as evaluation of risk analysis for routine and non-routine activities. Carry out corrective, preventive and productive maintenance. Must have theoretical knowledge of diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. Knowledge in developing autonomous, preventive and predictive maintenance plans Responsible for the proper functioning of the equipment in your work area Develop security procedures to follow company guidelines Problem solving Required Skills Use of Multimeter, Oscilloscope and amp meter Ability to train others Leadership and common sense. Team work Low supervision and Bias for action.
